Pricing and Options

Grognard bikes have a bit of a range depending on choices that you make and the features you’d like. My frames aren’t cheap, but I try to give more value for the dollar than typically offered from other companies. Standard for each and every frame are a fully custom fit/build with fillet-brazed joints. Each frame comes with a Thomson seatpost and Hope seatpost collar. Grognard frames come standard with a high quality, two-tone paint in colors of your choice. If you’d rather have powder coat that can be done also, although only a single color is standard.

I don't charge extra for “standard” braze-ons so you can have as many or as few as you'd like. By standard I mean braze-ons for water bottles, racks and fenders. I also don’t charge extra for a rear disc brake tab. You can have V-brake bosses, a rear disc tab or both.

Every Grognard also comes with a sterling silver head badge.

  • Mountain - Base Price: $1600
  • Road - Base Price: $1500
  • Triathlon - Base Price: $1550
  • Cyclocross - Base Price: $1500

Options and Extras:

  • Customizable Grognard dropouts – $200
  • Paragon sliding dropouts - $125
  • S&S couplers - $450
  • Metallic, Pearl or other special paint – from $100
  • Lugs – from $150
  • Custom carved lugs – from $250
  • Polished lugs – $250 each
  • Braze-ons for pumps, lights, etc. – from $50
  • Custom wheel build - $50/set plus parts

Frame spec upgrades:

  • S3 or Spirit tubing upgrade - $200
  • Columbus Super Muscle, Muscle, or Carve carbon full stay kits - $450
  • Columbus Link seatstays - $175
  • Easton EC-90 Superlight carbon full stay kit- $300
  • Taylor CX carbon seatstays - $250

For other than new Grognard frames:

  • Frame repair – call for estimate
  • Rear disc tab - $50
  • Repair/replace V-brake boss - $35 ea.
  • Align rear derailleur tab - $10
  • Replace rear derailleur tab - $35
  • Repaint – starting at $200
